Good or Gimmick does not require an account, collect contact information, sell personal data, or use advertising cookies.
Anonymous site measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and a small set of link events, such as which merchant or evidence link was selected. Vercel reports this information in aggregate without third-party cookies or persistent personal identifiers. Our events do not contain names, email addresses, free-form text, or purchase data.
Review requests
The request form stores the product name, optional product link, category, and optional question you submit. It does not ask for an account or email. For abuse prevention, we convert the request IP address into a one-way salted hash and do not store the raw IP address. Requests remain private and are used only to prioritize editorial research. Please do not include personal information in the optional question.
External links and video
Merchant, publisher, and YouTube links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Embedded videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, but loading or playing them may still send technical request data to Google or YouTube.
Changes
If we add accounts, email collection, advertising, or a new analytics provider, this page will be updated before that collection begins. Last updated August 3, 2026.
